Data Science and Medical Image Analysis Training for Improved Health Care Delivery in Nigeria (DATICAN) (PhD trainee)

I am a dedicated lecturer and an early career researcher currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, with a focus on the application of Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning in medical imaging. I am privileged to be a scholar under the prestigious DATICAN program, which further supports my commitment to advancing research and knowledge dissemination in data science and AI. My academic and professional journey is driven by a passion to leverage cutting-edge technology for solving real-world healthcare challenges, especially those relevant to Africa. In addition to my research pursuits, I am actively involved in teaching and mentoring students, aiming to inspire and build capacity in the next generation of scientists and innovators. I also belong to other community such as women in AI and also black in AI and the passion for all these is to be able to mentor young people especially women in African countries.
