Growing Data-science Research in Africa to Stimulate Progress (GRASP) (MS graduate)

I am a dedicated public health professional with a strong academic background in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (MPH). My passion for improving public health outcomes, particularly among vulnerable populations, has driven my academic and professional pursuits. Over the years, I have developed a keen interest in the intersection between nutrition and complex diseases, especially in the context of low- and middle-income countries. In previous roles, I have contributed to health education campaigns and research-focused community health outreaches. I am vastly experienced in data collection, interpretation and management, including familiarity with large-scale datasets such as National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). I am interested in advancing research output that translates into policy and practice. Beyond this, I am also an advocate for capacity building in public health. I look forward to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and experts across the globe to develop sustainable, evidence-based solutions for improved health across the life course.
