Dr Bianca Moffett - Participant

Dr Bianca Moffett is a Clinician Researcher and Mental Health lead at the SAMRC/Wits-Agincourt, University of the Witwatersrand. Her research focuses on adolescent mental health and digital innovation in under-resourced African settings. She leads the Wellcome/ AHPRC-funded AfriCAT Project developing Computerised Adaptive Testing for depression and anxiety, and oversaw the DoBAt trial of a Behavioural Activation app incorporating gamification and peer support. With a decade of experience in rural primary healthcare, an MSc in Global Mental Health (KCL/LSHTM), and PhD in Public Health underway, her work integrates community-based participatory research, implementation science, and data-driven approaches to advance mental health equity in Africa.
