 - Afrca CDC (Nurses Training College, Health Tutor)- Mavis Cecilia Coffie is a highly dedicated and results-oriented professional nurse with over a decade of experience in mental health and addiction nursing. She currently serves as a Health Tutor at the Nurses Training College, Pantang, where she plays a pivotal role in training and mentoring future mental health professionals. Pursuing an MPhil in Applied Epidemiology and Disease Control at the University of Ghana on the Arica CDC sponsorship. Mavis brings a strong clinical foundation to her academic role, having previously served as a Senior Staff Nurse at Pantang Hospital, with a specialized focus on recovery addiction and crisis intervention. Her career also includes experience as a rotation nurse, where she gained broad, cross-disciplinary clinical expertise across various healthcare settings. She holds numerous certifications and professional memberships that reflect her commitment to excellence in nursing and addiction care. Mavis is a member of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives, where she specializes in Addiction Nursing, and is an International Certified Addiction Professional (ICAP). Academically, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central University and a Diploma in Mental Health Nursing from the Pantang Nurses' Training College.
