DST-HIRWA: Research Training in Data Science for Health in Rwanda (Masters Student)

I am Roger MURAGIRE, a 29 years old Rwandan. I am an Aspiring data-driven epidemiologist with a clinical background and current Master of Science in Epidemiology candidate at the University of Rwanda. I am a registered clinical officer with hands-on experience in the clinic, community health, health data systems, and health research. Through the DST-HIRWA program, I am currently implementing a research project titled "Machine learning-based approach for predicting diabetes using socio-demographic and lifestyle characteristics". My goal is to advance public health through applied data science solutions for resource limited settings.
