    SYNAPSE: SYNthetic Healthcare DAta Platform for Data SciEnce Training (Masters Student)

    Charite BYIRINGIRO is a Rwandan public health professional and emerging data scientist, born on January 5, 1994, in Huye District, Rwanda. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Medicine and Community Health from the University of Rwanda and am currently pursuing a Master's in Public Health in the university of Rwanda. My work experience includes serving as Assistant Chief of Consultation at Mageragere Prison Health Center from 2020 to 2021, where I provided clinical care, drug prescription, and ward round services, and as Assistant Claims Analyst at UAP/Old Mutual Rwanda from 2021 to 2022, focusing on claim processing and reconciliation. From March 2022 to April 2023. Since May 2023, I have served as a Tutorial Assistant in Clinical Medicine and Community Health at the University of Rwanda, supporting student learning, practical sessions, and research supervision. I have participated in research projects on tropical diseases, nutrition, and I am currently applying machine learning to evaluate predictors of viral load suppression among adolescents and young adults living with HIV. I am passionate about integrating data science, research, and public health interventions to improve health outcomes and inform evidence-based decisions in Rwanda and beyond
