INFORM: Role of Data Streams In Informing Infection Dynamics in Africa (Research Administrator)

Kyusonn is a multidisciplinary professional with expertise in grants administration, institutional operations, and strategic communications in research and development settings. A graduate of International Relations and currently pursuing a master's degree in the same field, she brings over eight years of experience supporting high-performing teams and managing complex projects across research administration, project management, and science communication. At the International Research Center of Excellence (IRCE) at the Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN), Kyusonn has spent the past six years supporting post-award processes for more than 15 research grants funded by organizations including NIH, CDC, USAID, and EDCTP. She supports financial reporting and coordinates with principal investigators and program teams to ensure efficient project delivery and donor compliance. Her recent focus has been on science communication; leading a team responsible for website management, research dissemination, and institutional visibility campaigns that translate technical outputs into accessible, engaging content across various platforms. Earlier in her career, she contributed to digital forensics training programs for Nigerian law enforcement, combining technical writing, curriculum development, and client engagement. Her diverse experience enables her to contribute meaningfully to both the administrative backbone and the strategic dissemination of findings for complex research projects.
