    Yolisa Nalule is Research Ecosystems Lead - Africa. Leading on Wellcome's portfolio of major investments in Africa and managing a sub-team to ensure our funding delivers on Wellcome's mission and Equity Framework. This includes overseeing Wellcome's Major International Programmes (MIPs) and investments in Africa; leading the scoping, developing and delivery of opportunities beyond or adjacent to current investments that are in line with Wellcome's mission and Equity Framework; setting strategic direction; cultivating, influencing and engaging key research institutions, funders, governments, and policymakers to drive systemic change and strengthen equitable research ecosystems in Africa.
