    LEAD Foundation (Field Coordinator - Microclimate)

    I am Augustino Nazar Temba, a 32-year-old Tanzanian with a Bachelor of Science in Eco-tourism and Nature Conservation from Sebastian Kolowa Memorial University (2017) and a Master of Science in Natural Resources Management from the University of Dodoma (2022). Professionally, I worked as an Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Conservation Officer at China State Farms Agribusiness Group Corp Ltd in Tanzania from January 2022 to May 2023. Currently, I am a Field Coordinator for the LEAD FOUNDATION, since 2023, where I work on the Heat Adaptation Project (Evaluating the effect modification of trees in croplands in mitigating the Health effects of extreme heat exposure on agricultural workers in Tanzania) funded by Wellcome. I have contributed to academic research, with publications such as "The Economic Viability Analysis on the Adopted Climate Change Adaptation Strategies among Maize Farmers in Semi-Arid Central Tanzania" (East African Journal of Science, Technology and Innovation, 2023, https://doi.org/10.37425/eajsti.v4i3.697) and "Small-holder Farmers' Perceptions of the Impacts of Climate Change on Maize Crops in Dodoma, Tanzania" (Ghana Journal of Geography, 2023, 10.4314/gjg.v15i2.10). My work focuses on sustainable agriculture, climate change adaptation, and natural resource conservation, demonstrating my dedication to environmental resilience and community development in Tanzania.
