    African Bioinformatics Institute (ABI Core Team) Munadia Ansarie. is a Project Manager supporting the establishment of the African Bioinformatics Institute (ABI), a continental initiative designed to strengthen Africa's capacity in bioinformatics and data science. In this role, she contributes to institutional development, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the ABI is grounded in African leadership and sustainable innovation. Munadia brings a cross-disciplinary background to this work, with a foundation in laboratory research encompassing animal studies and proteomics. Her scientific training is complemented by an MBA, which has enabled her to transition into strategic and project-focused roles across academic and research environments. Her work is informed by a systems-level perspective and a long-standing commitment to ensuring science delivers impact beyond academia.
