    ENEZA: Eneza Data Science: Enhancing Data Science Capability and Tools for Health in East Africa (Training manager / Coordinator)

    Kennedy Senagi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Data Management) and Data Manager at the International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (icipe). He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Paris8, France. He has over ten years of experience in the areas of data science, machine learning, and software engineering. Some of his works are, but are not limited to, optimization of the random forest algorithm, building a research data management system and pipelines, and development of agricultural decision support systems. Previously, he worked as a university lecturer and software engineer. Currently, Kennedy works in teams of multi-disciplinary experts in implementing solutions that cut across different domains (such as health, agriculture, climate, etc.).
