    SYNAPSE: SYNthetic Healthcare DAta Platform for Data SciEnce Training (Faculty Mentee)

    Dr Dieudonne Kayiranga is a clinician, educator, researcher and leader. He is a data scientist working in Research Training in Data Science for Health in Rwanda project and Synthetic healthcarfe data platform for data science training (SYNAPSE) project. He holds a PhD in Nursing and worked on adolescents with HIV during his PhD research. He has over 13 years of experience working as an academic staff at the University of Rwanda. He has been the Deputy Dean of the School, Deputy Coordinator of School Postgraduate programs and Head of Department since 2011 to 2020.
