    Sixteen years of solid experience in grant management and research administration with trainings from leading partners, universities, and research institutions in the United States, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. Extensive training in research ethics and human rights and research protocols from Joint Clinical Research Center (JCRC)/COHRE with support from National Health Institute (NIH)/Forgarty International Center (FIC). Co-investigator on research grants, including an HIV research grant with Mbarara University and University of Virginia. Key lead on first capacity building grant proposal by Mbarara University to help advance training on biomedical grants management for the Mbarara University Grants Office.Hold certificates in per-award research administration, award set-up and negotiation, research development, proposal development, research compliance, and currently completing principles of post-award finance research administration.
