    DICE: Leveraging Data Science Applications to Improve Children's Environmental Health in Sub-Saharan Africa (Co-PI)

    Justice Moses K. Aheto is a Professor of Biostatistics at the Department of Biostatistics, University of Ghana. He has sound expertise and unending interests in the development and application of novel Statistical/Biostatistical and Epidemiological methods underpinned by mathematical modelling for investigating population health outcomes, especially environmental health, vaccination coverage, malaria, malnutrition, maternal and child health, and infectious and non-communicable diseases focusing on low-and-middle-income countries leveraging big data. He has published in these areas with over 56 peer-reviewed journal publications and won several international and national awards for his research and teaching. Prof. Aheto has established high-profile research and teaching collaborations with several institutions like University of South Florida -USA, University of Southampton - UK, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine - UK, GAVI - the Vaccine Alliance, WHO, ECOWAS, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Imperial College London - UK, University of Abomey-Calavi - Benin, University of the Gambia - Gambia, Federal University Oye Ekiti - Nigeria, UNICEF, Ghana Statistical Service, Ghana Health Service, among others.
