DS-CHANGE: Data Science for Child Health Now in Ghana (Masters Student)
Hannah Emefa Afi Azinogo is a hardworking postgraduate student affiliated with the DSCHANGE project. Her project focuses on applying computer vision and image processing techniques to accurately measure the total burn surface area of burned children in Ghana. She has a strong interest in child health and is eager to increase her knowledge and expertise in solving childhood problems, particularly in injury management. Hannah earned her bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), where she later served as a Teaching Assistant. Building on her academic foundation, she pursued a master's degree in Biomedical Data Science. In addition to her academic pursuits, Hannah is a mentor to students at KNUST and also a graphic designer, which enhances the visual impact of her presentations.
