    Dr. Churchill serves as Senior Advisor to the NIMH Director. Dr. Churchill has multiple leadership roles on behalf of NIMH: as Co-Lead for the NIMH Training Team; Co-lead for the BRAIN Initiative Neuroethics Team; Data Science Initiative in Africa Team Lead focused on Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications research; NIMH liaison to the Department of Defense and the Department of the Army focused on suicide research, and NIMH liaison to NASA. During Dr. Churchill's tenure at NIMH he has also served as the NIMH Lead for brain connectome projects and as the lead for NIH Blueprint efforts focused on neuroscience education in K-12 classrooms.
