    Jessica Haberer, MD, MS, received her medical degree from Yale University, as well as a master's degree in Health Services Research from Stanford University. She trained in Internal Medicine at the University of California San Francisco and early in her career worked for the William J. Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative. Since 2008, she has worked at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where she studies real-time adherence monitoring and intervention strategies for the treatment and prevention of both HIV and tuberculosis. Her projects are primarily based in East and South Africa, and current work focuses on implementation science for HIV treatment and prevention. Dr. Haberer also serves as the Director of Research at the MGH Center for Global Health and is committed to active mentorship, promotion of diversity among HIV researchers, and equity in global health research partnerships.
