    Christy McKinney, PhD, MPH is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics in the School of Medicine at the University of Washington (UW). She is an epidemiologist based at Seattle Children's Hospital and Research Institute. Her focus in translational research is leveraging data to generating new knowledge and tools that directly translate into improved care and better health in young children with oral and craniofacial conditions. Her research interests include nutrition and growth, early feeding, and environmental exposures in young children in high- and limited-resource settings. She also focuses on training the next generation of clinical researchers.
