    Cherlynn Dumbura is an early career researcher, qualified Data Scientist and Biostatistician. She is a member of the International Biometric Society and serves as the regional chair(Zimbabwe). She has worked in maternal and child health research looking into the factors that determine recovery of severely malnourished children ( HOPESAM, Zimbabwe and Zambia). She is currently working in the HEAT Centre consortium(CESHHAR Zimbabwe, Climate Data and Health department ) as a Research coordinator and Data scientist on Research Project 1. Her PhD work involves applying data science methods to determine associations between maternal , neonate outcomes and heat (climate data).
