I hold a PhD in Computational Mathematics. I have worked with several international organizations on a number of projects, including the UN, WHO, CERN, UNESCO and the Citizen Cyberscience Center, in Geneva-Switzerland. I have also consulted and developed several application suites and set up a number of network infrastructures in a number of countries, including Rwanda and Morocco, through the IBPS-UNESCO e-library and infrastructure project. I am currently the lead scientist for the first High Performance/Throughput Computing (HP/TC) Laboratory in Ghana hosted by KNUST. I serve as the director of scientific and technical computing at the National institute for mathematical sciences, Ghana. I have organized and coordinated several training, workshops and conferences and coordinated the renowned African School of Fundamental Physics, 2nd edition. I teach mainly scientific and technical Computing, Numerical Analysis, Discrete structures, Graph theory, Machine learning and data visualization. I have a specific research interest in High-Performance Computing, Fractional and Stochastic Differential Equations, Human identification and Recognition, Wavelets, and lately, data analytics and computational genomics. I have trained and mentored over 50 graduate students, 28 of whom are PhDs. I have served as the director of the Centre for Scientific and technical computing for the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences in Ghana. I have served as a University IT consultant for the past six years for KNUST, a role that provides leadership for the technology mission of the University. I happened to be a member of H3Africa and had served as a site PI for Wastlibre NIH/Fogarty grant. I am the research lead for Advanced Computing and Digital Forensic in the KNUST Engineering Education Program (an African Center of Excellence program). I have served on several national boards, including representing public Universities on the board of Ghana's National Research and Education Network.
