    Dr. Davilla-Roman is cardiologist at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, USA with over 25 years of clinical research, mentoring, training and administrative expertise. His research interests include the use of cardiovascular imaging to evaluate mechanisms leading to cardiac dysfunction in hypertension, diabetic cardiomyopathy, obesity and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, and the use of implementation science to advance the delivery of strategies to improve healthcare systems and delivery of care for patients with hypertension and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Davilla-Roman has extensive experience leading large NIH clinical trials in hypertension, heart failure and implementation science, most recently serving as: a) MPI, NHLBI-U10 Heart Failure Network Program
