    Denise Russo joined the National Institute for Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) as Deputy Branch Chief for the Maternal, Pediatric Infectious Disease Branch in 2012. She has a diverse background at the NIH and has served as Director, Extramural Activities at the National Institute on Nursing Research (NINR), as Extramural Policy Coordination Officer and the Director NIH Guide for Grants and Contracts in the Office of the Director, NIH, Chief of the Biomedical Research Branch at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)
