I am a Senior Research Fellow at the West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), University of Ghana. I come from Ghana and hold a DPhil in genetic epidemiology from the University of Oxford, UK. My research interest is in infectious disease epidemiology but focused on malaria genetic epidemiology and use of bioinformatic tools to address questions in malaria parasite biology, population genetics, host-parasite interactions and antimalarial drugs and insecticide resistance surveillance. I am also one of the founding members of the Plasmodium Diversity Network Africa (PDNA).
