    Scott Hazelhurst is Co-PI of the DS-I Multimorbidity in Africa: Digital Innovation, Visualisation and Application Research Hub (MADIVA), and a collaborator on the eLwazi ODSP. He is Professor of Bioinformatics in the School of Electrical & Information Engineering and Senior Scientist in the Sydney Brenner Institute for Molecular Bioscience at the University of the Witwatersrand. His research and teaching interests include bioinformatics, big data/HPC, and health informatics, and has been collaborator on the H3A AWI-Gen and H3ABioNet projects. Scott received his MSc degree from Wits and his PhD from the University of British Columbia.
