    Dr. Philomena Ngugi is a tutorial fellow in the Institute of Biomedical Informatics at Moi University (Kenya). She completed a PhD in Health Informatics at University of Bergen, Norway in 2021. Dr. Ngugi's work focus is applications of ICTs in health. She has developed, implemented and evaluated digital health solutions for healthcare facilities in Kenya. She has publications in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Ngugi has also participated in the development of curriculum and eLearning content for various health informatics courses for different levels of study. She has a great interest in applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies in health data management for better health outcomes.
