UZIMA-DS: UtiliZing health Information for Meaningful impact in East Africa through Data Science (Project Manager/Coordinator)

Peris is a Program Manager at the Aga Khan University Institute for Human Development, supporting the UZIMA-DS hub. She holds a Master of Arts in Development Studies from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Master's in Disaster Management from Masinde Muliro University. She has experience in research coordination, administration, and management of maternal and child health projects. She also has extensive experience in community and stakeholder engagement for successful research initiatives. Her interest in data science involves community awareness and perceptions of artificial intelligence in healthcare interventions.
