About DS-I Africa Networking Exchange Event
This event promises to be interesting, bringing together participants across Africa and great minds in data science and innovation across the African continent and beyond. At DS-I Africa, we are committed to fostering partnerships that bridge gaps, enhance knowledge sharing, and spur technological advancements.
This Networking Exchange will be a unique platform for professionals, academics, and innovators to get to know about DS-I Africa projects, network, exchange ideas, and collaborate on projects that have the potential to shape the future of Africa's health and socio-economic landscape.
The event will feature three main lounges:
Tech Lounge
- The Tech Lounge is your go-to destination for all things tech. A vibrant community of innovators, tech enthusiasts, and dreamers.
- Virtual reality, tool/app display.
Poster Lounge
- Highlight the research of community members and showcase their projects.
- Working groups will have a poster session.
- Poster dimension is A0 Portrait.
Startup Lounge
- The area for emerging startups to showcase their products and services, demonstrating innovative solutions they have developed using data science.
The Networking Exchange is hosted by the Data Science for Health Discovery and Innovation in Africa (DS-I Africa) Coordinating Center, which is funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) Common Fund. For questions, contact francis.agamah@uct.ac.za and ds-i-africa.admin@uct.ac.za.
