    Developing data science solutions to mitigate the health impacts of climate change in Africa: the HE2AT Center (HEAT)

    I am a Research Data Scientist with a BSc in Informatics and a deep passion for health research. I combine strong technical skills in Python, R, and GIS with a collaborative spirit to tackle complex challenges at the intersection of environmental health and data science. Currently a Research Assistant at Place Alert Labs, Midlands State University, I contribute to projects on environmental exposure by building machine learning models, performing spatial analysis, and ensuring research findings are clear and impactful. I am driven by a commitment to using data‑informed solutions to improve public health outcomes in sub‑Saharan Africa and am always eager to learn and apply new methods to drive meaningful change
