    Dr. Isambi Sailon Mbalawata is the Director of Scientific Development and Administration at the AIMS Research and Innovation Centre in Kigali, Rwanda. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland, with expertise in Bayesian methods and applied statistics. His research spans epidemiological modelling and stochastic processes. Dr. Mbalawata has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and has supervised more than 20 Master's and Ph.D. students.
