UtiliZing health Information for Meaningful impact in East Africa through Data Science (PhD Student)
Hillary Kimutai Koros, is a mixed-methods Health Systems and Policy Researcher with over eight years of experience in data-driven health research. Hillary holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology (2012) and a Master of Science in Environmental Biology (2016) from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Kenya. His research interests are at the intersection of Health Informatics, Data Science, and Implementation Science, reflecting his focus on strengthening health systems through better use of data. Hillary has previously worked as a Research Officer at Aga Khan University and at the KEMRI Wellcome-Trust Research Programme. In these roles, he contributed to the design, implementation, and analysis of public health studies in Kenya. Hillary is passionate about using data science methods to support health systems and improve treatment outcomes in resource-limited settings. His PhD under BRIDGE NETWORK is at the University of Rwanda, College of Business and Economics, focusing on Data-Driven Analysis of Antiretroviral Therapy, PrEP Outcomes, and Maternal-Child Health.
