    Automated Mobile Microscopy for Malaria Diagnosis and surveillance in Uganda (Research Scientist)

    A Research Scientist and ML Engineer specializing in Applied Computer Vision, he leverages a strong Software Engineering background to build AI that works in the real world. Over the past six years, he has developed high-impact solutions for healthcare and agriculture, focusing on scalable data pipelines and deep learning models. His work is dedicated to bridging the technological gap for both global industry and developing communities. On the DS-I Malaria project, he leads the Machine Learning team responsible for development of automated malaria diagnosis and surveillance tools.
