    Evelyne Muchene is a Travel and Housing Associate at the Aga Khan University Institute for Human Development (IHD). She supports the Institute's academic, research, and program activities through coordination of staff travel and accommodation services. Evelyne holds multiple professional diplomas in International Travel and Tourism Management and Tour Operations from the Air Travel & Related Studies Centre and graduated with distinction in IATA/UFTAA programs. With over a decade of experience in the travel industry, including service with established travel agencies in Nairobi, Evelyne brings expertise in travel planning, group logistics, accommodation management, vendor engagement and compliance with institutional policies. Her professional interests include strengthening operational efficiency, ensuring cost-effective and compliant travel solutions, and delivering high-quality support services that enable the University's teaching, research, and outreach missions.
