    My name is Vitalis Orango, a graduate of Moi University in Bachelor of Science-Mathematics/Statistics (BSc) and currently am working on my thesis of Masters in Biostatistics (MSc) at University of Eldoret; done with course work. I have 7 years working experience (4 at AMPATH and 3 at CDC/KEMRI) as Scientific Data Researcher, specifically in database management and data analysis; on Clinical trials research for NIH funded projects and Observational research at AMPATH (my current workplace). Management and Analysis of research data with Social Determinants is an area of my interest of late, and my academic courses, work experiences, trainings have provided me with a solid foundation in handling different kind of data; large and complex databases. Also, as Monitoring & Evaluation County Coordinator, I am able to provide appropriate policy advices on issues that affect data management and operations. As a competent Data Analyst, I am able to handling different statistical techniques in analysis as well as work with systems
