Bioinformatics Training and Outreach Programme Manager at the University of Cape Town's Computational Biology Division with over 5 years of experience in spearheading impactful computational biology and bioinformatics training initiatives across Africa, with several additional years of experience in various educational support roles. Proficient in competency-based curriculum development and adept at managing large-scale training and outreach programmes in resource-limited settings. A PhD candidate (PhD currently under examination) specializing in marine taxonomy, systematics, evolutionary genetics and genomics, driven by a passion for enhancing STEM capacity and accessibility to educational resources on the African continent.
