Makerere University Data Science Research Training to Strengthen Evidence-Based Health Innovation, Intervention and Policy (MakDARTA) (MSc trainee)

I am a passionate and enthusiastic bioinformatic scientist with skills in R, Python, Bash/Linux, interested in bacterial genomics, anti-microbial resistance, and the application of data science technologies such as artificial intelligence, and machine learning in the field of biomedical sciences in order to address the crippled health care burdens facing my country and Africa as a continent. I am also eager to learn from other researcher's all over the world with the same research interests about the latest developments in research and use of the data science technologies in biomedical and translational research.
