Margaret's career in pre and post award research administration began thirteen years ago at Mbarara University of Science and Technology. She boosts to be among the founder team that established and grew the MUST Grants Office and a pioneer Grants Administrator for MGO. She has an overall sight of administrative management of grants and contracts that are awarded to MUST. She visited the NIH Headquarters in Bethesda Maryland and actively participated in residence training under the theme Biomedical & Behavioral Research Administrators training. As the result of the vast knowledge acquired during the one month and half residence training in Research Administration at the NIH site in Bethesda coupled with other trainings she has received over the years, Ms. Margaret has provided robust Post award administrative support to the MUST Research community. She has had a poster Presentation session at the Association of Research Administrators in Africa conference in November 2013 which took place Sarova Pan Africa hotel in Nairobi Kenya under the theme; 'Setting up an Office of Research Administration'' She has completed the SRA International LevelUP Micro-credentialing program in Principal in
