    Utilizing Data Science to Predict and Improve Health Outcomes in Pediatric HIV (Co-Investigator)

    A Physician-Scientist working on understanding host-pathogen interaction using pathogen and host sequence data. Currently looking at differential alternative splicing and gene transcript usage in HIV-TB pediatric coinfection. He is also involved in the use of multi-omic and other patient data to predict clinical outcomes in children with HIV. He also has interest in pathogen genomics, particularly understanding mechanisms of virulence and antimicrobial resistance in priority bacterial pathogens as well as the use of sequence data in surveillance and outbreak investigations.
