Developing data science solutions to mitigate the health impacts of climate change in Africa: the HE2AT Center (Data Scientist)

I am a climatologist by training but prefer to describe myself as a data scientist. I work with the Climate System Analysis Group at the University of Cape Town, where my passion lies in building scientific tools and exploring how data and technology can inform decision-making. I am particularly interested in how integrating diverse data sources can generate actionable insights under otherwise uncertain conditions. When I'm not behind my computer, you'll find me in the ocean.
