    I am Brenda Ainomugisha, a medical doctor from Uganda, and a PhD scholar with a deep-seated interest in data science. I am a part of the Mbarara University Data Science Research Hub which is collecting databases of retinal images, cervical images, and many other medical images to aid in algorithm development for improved diagnostics. This has been a privilege of a lifetime, being introduced to this science at this point in my career is a whole mental shift. I will appreciate any mentorship that comes along in the field of data science, artificial intelligence, and large language models and their application in the clinical room.
