UtiliZing health Information for Meaningful impact in East Africa through Data Science (Research Specialist)
Andrew is a proactive research scientist experienced in quantitative and qualitative research methods and complementary disciplines such as data analysis and scientific writing. Trained in Biomedical Sciences, he has collaborated with research teams in accredited organizations, contributing to projects that: a) evaluated genetic predictors of diseases, b) developed actionable, community-led strategies for preventing common infectious diseases, and c) assessed compliance with national policies and guidelines for preventing the transmission of common infectious diseases. As a Research Specialist, Andrew supports research initiatives for the UtiliZing health Information for Meaningful impact in East Africa through Data Science (UZIMA-DS) study, including programming and pretesting of research tools, engaging key authorities in field sites, and administrative duties, including grant support.
