    Makerere University Data Science Research Training to Strengthen Evidence-Based Health Innovation, Intervention and Policy (Masters Student)

    Martha Namusobya is a medical doctor with keen clinical and research interest in pulmonary and infectious diseases. She is currently a research fellow at Makerere University's MakDARTA program, where she is harnessing Big Data to develop Machine Learning models that are applicable to HIV clinical care. She has also recently completed Masters training in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. As a young and upcoming researcher, she hopes to use this medley of training and experience on the journey to becoming an independent colloborative researcher.
