Willie Wainaina Njoroge is an accomplished professional holding a Master of Science degree in Applied Psychology from Central China Normal University and a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honors) in Clinical Psychology and Sociology from the University of Namibia. Currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Psychology at Southwest University in Chongqing, China, Willie possesses a diverse educational background. In his professional journey, Willie has garnered extensive experience in applied psychology research, consultancy, leadership, and mentorship. His research interests span a wide array of topics, including insomnia, rumination, circadian rhythms, substance abuse, self-harm, and psychological resilience. Within the academic realm, Willie contributes significantly as the Core Lead for the Utilizing Health Information for Meaningful Impact in East Africa through Data Science (UZIMA-DS) Mental Health Project at the Brain and Mind Institute. In this role, he actively engages in research, implementation, and dissemination activities. Beyond his professional pursuits, Willie finds joy in leisure activities such as digital photography, traveling, and culinary adventures, showcasing a well-rounded personality and diverse interests.
