    Data Science and Medical Image Analysis Training for Improved Health Care Delivery in Nigeria (Co-PI)

    Godwin Ogbole is a distinguished Professor and Chair of Radiology at the University of Ibadan. He is also a consultant Neuroradiologist at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. In addition, he is a senior visiting fellow at the University of Oxford and co-investigator on the Data Science and medical image analysis training for improved healthcare delivery in Nigeria project (DATICAN) Dr. Ogbole leads the imaging team of the Stroke Investigative Research and Educational Network (SIREN) and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) to Strengthen MRI Access Research and Training in Africa (SMARTA) network. He is a specialist in neuroimaging, focused on using machine-learning tools for imaging analysis. Dr. Ogbole collaborates with researchers globally to improve health outcomes through MR imaging and Data science initiatives. He is committed to advancing the African neuroscience research workforce through innovative training, capacity development, and community engagement.
