I am Dr Thomas O. Konney a consultant Gynaecologist Oncologist at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital which is an affiliate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. My major research interest is gynaecological malignancies, especially on cervical cancer prevention and treatment. I am a Co-Investigator on MUDSReH project- Automated Visual Evaluation and Geo-spacial Mapping for the prevention of cervical cancer in Sub-Saharan Africa (AVE-Map- Ghana) in collaboration with the Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Uganda. I am currently the Obstetrics an Gynaecology Faculty Secretary at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS). I serve an examiner in the GCPS as well as the West African College of Surgeons. I have published widely on gynaecological cancers.
