I am a Certified Research Administrator from the University of Central Florida with twelve years of experience. I have been engaged in research administration and grants management for 11 years, at various levels and have effectively managed large projects like Medical Education Partnership Initiative-Medical Education Services for All Ugandans (MEPI-MESAU), Health professions Education Partnership Initiative-Transforming Uganda's Institution Training Against HIV/AIDs (HEPI-TUITAH), Mbarara University Research Training Initiative (MURTI) and Mbarara University Data Science Research Initiative Hub (MUDSReH) all funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). My strong foundation in research administration and management was built during the MEPI-i-RIM program a supplement to MEPI-MEASU grant (5R24TW008886) whose focus was to establish Centralized Institution Research and Innovations Offices (CIRIMOs) and train competent professionals in research administration in Africa. I currently work as a hub administrator on the MUDSReH program and support overall coordination and reporting for all projects with in the MUDSReH hub.
