Advancing discovery for developmental disorders - expanded analysis of the DDD-Africa resource (Researcher)

I am currently a researcher for the Deciphering Developmental Disorders in Africa (DDD-Africa) project at the University of the Witwatersrand. My passion and curiosity have driven me to register for a PhD in Human Genetics which I am currently completing. My project is focused on identifying copy number variants (CNVs) in South African patients with developmental disorders. My PhD project together with the main DDD-Africa project aims to improve healthcare services and diagnosis for patients with developmental disorders and their families in Africa.
