    DS-I Africa - LAW (Co-PI)

    Dr. Paul Ogendi is a lecturer at the University of Nairobi and is the current coordinator of the Faculty of Law, Kisumu campus. He is an alumnus of Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa programme from the Centre for Human Rights (CHR), University of Pretoria. He has worked for many human rights organizations including the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights in Banjul, the Gambia. Dr. Ogendi is also a Counsel for African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights and has litigated before the court and recently managed to represent an indigent applicant from Tanzania before the court. Dr. Ogendi continues to actively engage in teaching, research and consultancy activities. He is currently leading as a Co-PI the informed consent specific aim with DS-I Africa Law as an Honorary Research Fellow at the UKZN.
