    Simisola O. Akintola is a legal researcher, professor, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. With expertise in Intellectual Property law,health law and bioethics, she has made significant contributions to the field through her research, publications, and active participation in international conferences seminars and fora. As a legal scholar, Akintola has consistently demonstrated a deep understanding of complex legal issues, particularly in the realm of health law and bioethics. Her research focuses on the intersection of law, ethics, and legal issues in technologies in health, exploring topics such as digital privacy, data protection, patient rights, and the ethical implications of emerging medical technologies. Akintola's scholarly work has been widely recognized and published in reputable peer-reviewed journals. Her insightful articles and papers offer thought-provoking analysis, contributing to the academic discourse and shaping the field of health law and bioethics in Nigeria and beyond. Her research has shed light on crucial legal and ethical considerations in health research, guiding policymakers and healthcare professionals in navigating complex challenges. In addition to her research accomplishments, Simisola O. Akintola has actively engaged in interdisciplinary collaboration. She has served on Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), contributing her legal expertise to ensure ethical standards and the protection of research participants.
