3 November - 9 November 2023

  • Dr Rosemary Mckaig - Participant

National Institutes of Health (NIH) (NIH Staff)

I am a Program Officer and Epidemiologist who has worked for over 15 years in the Epidemiology Branch within the Division of AIDS at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. I received my bachelor and doctoral degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill and my MPH from Emory University. I have a history of research in oral epidemiology and in community based social-behavioral research as well as epidemiology methods. I oversee a portfolio of career awards and investigator-initiated grants as well as cooperative agreements, most of which are focused on novel analytic methods incorporating data collection, organization, harmonization, and analyses in longitudinal HIV research. I am most recently interested in the use of data science and GIS approaches and methods to address gaps in understanding and effectively preventing HIV transmission and deficiencies within the continuity of care for persons infected with HIV.
