UZIMA-DS: UtiliZing health Information for Meaningful impact in East Africa through Data Science (Project Manager/Coordinator)
Rachel Maina is a clinical psychologist (PhD student, MClinPsych) currently working as a project manager in DS-I Africa's UZIMA-DS (UtiliZe health Information for Meaningful impact in East Africa through Data Science) hub. She is also a Research Associate in Brain and Mind Institute - Aga Khan University. She is skilled and competent in using psychological assessment to create a hypothesis regarding a person's behaviour and personality as well as offering management in the form of psychotherapy. She is also competent in grants management throughout the grant's lifespan right from pre-award stage to implementation and close-out phase.
